The historic capital city of Boston has much to offer those looking for romance. With it’s charming cobblestone sidewalks, ambient restaurants and well-manicured parks, couples will find themselves falling in love all over again. Picnic in the park
Boston is home to many beautiful and historical parks where you can spend a leisurely afternoon lounging on a blanket with your beau and feeding each other strawberries and sandwiches. With 50 acres to explore, Boston Common provides history and ambiance and it is the oldest public park in the United States. Moreover, the historical Public Garden offers a lush botanical garden, open since 1837. Along with picnicking here couples can walk hand-in-hand over a lagoon suspension bridge or take a ride on the water in a Swan Boat.
Explore the city by boat
After exploring Boston from above, get to know the city from sea-level on a romantic boat ride. If you’re looking to add a bit of excitement, a whale watching cruise will allow you and your partner to see some of nature’s largest creatures. For something a bit more subdued, opt for a sunset dinner cruise where you both can sip Champagne, dance, watch a live cabaret show and soak in the city skyline.

Take in the view
Top of the Hub has everything, smooth jazz, fresh seafood, attentive service, a classy ambiance and, best of all, a bird’s eye-view of the city from 52-floors high. Ask to sit near the floor-to-ceiling windows so you and your partner can take in the scenery while enjoying New England clam chowder and local Boston lobster. Have a soak at Inman Oasis
While there are many spas in Boston, Inman Oasis is legendary for it’s hydrotherapy tubs for two. Have a soak with your special someone in a dimly-lit private room with soothing decor or enjoy the community tubs. Be sweet
What’s more romantic than chocolate? On Saturday afternoons you can head to the Langham Hotel Boston’s Cafe Fleuri for their Chocolate Bar. Buffet tables of truffles, Whoopie Pies, puddings, cakes and more will give you and your honey a reason to be sweet to each other. You can also head to the legendary Max Brenner for everything from chocolate tea to fondue to giant syringes full of liquid chocolate.
